I have been using kindle device since 2009. Generally, I use my kindle device to read my e-books. But sometimes I still need to read the images in a larger/color format. Using a tablet used to be a perfect solution for me.
After I purchased a surface pro 4 this year, I try to read my books on a surface since it’s per se a 13 inch table, but the image size is ridiculously small with Kindle PC program, and I can’t enlarge the image either. The reading experience is very bad on a PC.
Windows app solution
Although I can download a native Kindle app via windows app store and get a larger version of an image, but I still can not enlarge the image instantly.
The best way to handle the images on a PC is to use an android app emulator on your windows PC / Surface or Mac.
After downloaded an emulator, you can install the android version Kindle app via google play. You should use a new google account to protect your security. But you can still use your kindle/amazon account.
I am using AMIDuOS emulator and the kindle app runs perfectly. The images in reading mode are very big and legible. By clicking the image, the image maximized automatically just like using a Kindle device or a tablet kindle app.
Besides of AMIDuOS, you can also find many other android emulators, mostly are free, like Bluestacks.
